Day of Caring

We wish to thank all the NASWI personnel and United Way volunteers that came out on October 1 and helped make our Day of Caring a huge success!  Volunteers spent the morning sanding and staining outdoor playground equipment at Toddler Learning Center. 

Join us for next year's Day of Caring, a day of volunteering within the Island County community (date to be determined).  The Day of Caring is an excellent opportunity to lend your time and skills to help out in the community. 

Children's Day Celebration

This fun and family oriented event includes a free lunch, children's activities, and interactive family booths.   The event is held at South Whidbey Park each Fall - the date and time for the 2012 event will be released next August.  We hope to see you at next year's 15th Annual Children's Day Celebration!

Stuff The Bus

This event helps provide school supplies to low-income Island County students.  Thank you to all those who supported this year's event and made donations!

National Night Out

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's National Night Out.  We received a lot of positive feedback and hope to see you at next year's event!  Click here to check out pictures of the United Way of Island County's booth at this year's event, as well as a picture of the Big Pig Kiss Off!

National Night Out is a nationwide program and is designed to increase awareness and reduce crime.  Numerous vendors participate in this annual event, ranging from local clubs and businesses to food and activities for the family.  Join the neighborhood for this year's event!

When:  Tuesday, August 2, 2011 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Where:  Windjammer Park, Oak Harbor
